Small Rays of Hope and Fragments
of a Larger Idea

A Rhonda Schaller Studio Gallery event during the Holiday
season to benefit and celebrate our community, our artists,
our visions.
CALL FOR ARTISTS
You are invited to submit an application
for “Small Rays of Hope and Fragments of a Larger Idea”.
The gallery will be designed with small “windows”
- a lattice grid of 10” x 10” frames installed
on the walls, within which artists may present their “small
rays of hope”. Blue Pearl Press will publish Small
Rays of Hope 2008 an art calendar honoring selected
works from the exhibition.
Small works only – accepted work must
fit within a window, max dimensions up to 10” x 10”.
All media accepted. All work must be ready for installation
when delivered. Five artists will be chosen from the group
to create a larger idea – and exhibit a larger work.
There will be 5 awards of $250 given as honorariums, a second
place award of $300 and a $500 award given as Best in Show.
If accepted, artists can create works
specifically for this show. In your application, submit images
that reflect the quality and maturity of your current body
of work.
How To apply:
1) Print an application
form, email it back (or send by post).
2) Pay an application fee thru Paypal of $45 for 1-3 images,
$5 for each additional image (or send a check).
3) Email images as attachments in jpeg format* (or submit
images on a CD*).
4) Email an Artist Statement and Resume (MS Word document
only)
*filenames must include your name, title
of work, media, size, retail price (all works will be for
sale).
